Abilities and evolution

An animal companion's base health, armor, and damage are based on the level of the ranger that has bonded with it. This means that its basic abilities always match the ranger's level. In addition to this, the animal companion evolves over time through 20 evolution levels as the ranger gains experience while the animal companion is active.

Evolution gives the ranger ways to customize their animal companions. Each evolution level gives automatic bonuses to the animal companion, such as health or damage. There are also four ability slots which unlock at levels 5, 10, 15 and 20 during the evolution. The ranger can then assign active animal companion skills into these. The skills are unique for the animal companion type, for example the moa has squawks which can buff, but another animal companion might have skills which emphasize damage. All eight skills for an animal companion are available from evolution level one, so no skill unlocks are required in addition to the slot unlock.

Interesant articolul despre ranger. Ranger-ul nu va mai fi caracterul pe care toata lumea il stia din GW1. Acum ca si alte clase au acces la ranged weapons si skills el trebuie sa-si gaseasca o identitate proprie.

Sper sa lucreze mai mult la controlul pet-ului, nu imi place ca poti sa alegi skill-uri pentru el dar NU si cand sa le foloseasca.

In plus, fiecare clasa are o mecanica speciala ei, si anume warrior=adrenaline, guardian=boons, assasin=initiative, etc. Pentru ranger accesul la un animal de companie pare promitator, dar mai trebuie lucrat la el. Ramane sa asteptam...

1h 30min de pvp cu rangerul, high res + sunet ingame



Imi aduce aminte de arcasu meu din warhammer :(

Si in sfarsit un jucator care chiar foloseste dodge-ul/strafeul ....
